School Portraits

My goal is to create a unique and tailored experience for families attending the schools who have chosen to work with Morgan Locke Photography. 

My services are professional and intentional. Unlike big cooperate photography operations, I only work with a small number of schools in the Tacoma and Kitsap Peninsula area. I provide a professional and personal experience for families, schools and the children being photographed. 

My goal is to capture the heart of the children I photograph. I will never ask a child to “say cheese”. There are no forced or awkward smiles, just the authentic child, on the day. The results I produce are beautiful and timeless, far from the traditional school photos we are used to, with artificial smiles, unflattering poses, distracting backgrounds. I provide a fun and memorable experience for the children, and am proud of the atmosphere I create that allows children to let their true selves shine through.

What services do you offer?

My services are completely online. Each family is given a password-protected online gallery they can directly order from. Galleries are structured by grade or teachers –  whatever makes sense for the school. 

How are your services different from standard school photos?

I provide a more personalized experience for families. Each child has 2-5 images in their gallery. The family gets to choose which photos they want printed, instead of having one pose chosen for them. I offer prints and digital images that can be downloaded. 

A detailed guide describing the ordering policies and photoshoot day preparation will be provided to each school that can be distributed to families prior to photo day. 

Prints are ordered online and then delivered to the school within four weeks of picture day. 

I provide all the equipment needed for the day. 

I provide the school with all the high resolution digital files to use how they want.

I handle any questions from parents and families about ordering and products. 

I can take staff photos. 

Are the images expensive?

I have competitive rates, nothing is due up front, all profit is made from ordering. I offer a variety of collections and options.
