That’s why I wholeheartedly believe that preserving each season’s unique beauty is profoundly important. Photography allows us to press pause on the whirlwind of time, to capture the softness, the joy, and the connection that makes your family beautifully yours. My goal is to create timeless images that let you relive these memories for years to come—images that remind you of exactly how this season felt, long after it has passed.
Family Photography in Port Townsend
One of my favorite places to photograph families in Port Townsend is at the beach. It has so much variety in one location—from trees and grassy areas to sandy beaches, beautiful cliffs, and gorgeous golden light.
The scenery changes throughout the year, too. In the spring, yellow lupine adds a beautiful pop of color, while summer brings beach plants and grasses that make the location feel distinctly Pacific Northwest.
There are easy paths down to the beach, and the cliffs create some beautiful layers and texture in photographs without putting your family right on the edge. Once we’re on the beach, there is plenty of room to explore, play, and let your kids be themselves.
Your session won’t be an hour of standing in one spot, saying “cheese,” and trying to convince your kids to smile. Instead, I’ll guide you through a relaxed, child-led experience where we can walk, play, explore, snuggle, tell jokes, and follow your children’s lead.
I’ll take care of the light, the location, and the gentle direction along the way. Your job is simply to show up, be present with your people, and enjoy this little piece of your life together.

$1,200 — Sessions in Mt. Rainier, North Bend, Port Townsend, Snoqualmie Pass and other travel locations
