Fall Session Offerings 2024

I know its hard to imagine booking your family fall session now.. its the middle of summer.. I am sitting here on a beautiful blue bird day in shorts and a tang top writing this! lol
But the fact is everyone LOVES a fall session.. all those gorgeous fall colors have people waiting all year and then literally running to book!
I will be offering fall sessions from October-November. Session locations include; Kitsap area, Seattle, North Bend and Mt.Rainier.

Everything you need to know about Fall Sessions!

Mt.Rainier

This location is one of my absolute FAVORITES to shoot at! Ive been going up for there for 4 years now. The mountain weather changes SO quick, I always do these the first weekend in October. I shoot these sessions at sunrise, it is an early morning but it is beyond worth it! We meet in the parking lot at Paradise lodge and do a short but intense hike up while the sun is rising to reach this spot. It can be cold! I suggest wearing thick warm layers, such as wool, tights, sweaters. There is a breakfast and coffee shop outside of the park.

These sessions are good for family or maternity sessions!

Kitsap Area

I have multiple different locations I shoot at within Kitsap County, open fields and beaches!

I am offering Full sessions from September – November and Minis in October!

These sessions are good for family or maternity, extended family sessions are available upon request!

Seattle

I shoot most of my Seattle area sessions at Discovery Park. It gets a great sun set and is easy to access! It’s one of my favorite locations!

I am offering Full sessions from September – November and Mini sessions in October!

These sessions can be used for family or maternity, extended family sessions are available upon request!

North Bend

This is such a fun diversely stunning area! I have multiple beautiful locations up there and love all of them! They never disappoint!

How to dress and style your family for Fall Sessions.

Fall can definitely be cold we start feeling a cold crisp breeze in the shade and evenings. Dressing your littles one appropriately matters! Kids who are cold have a much harder time engaging and enjoying the play filled session!

Layers are the key! Think tights, base layers, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves. We can always take off and add layers as need be! Some good warming options are wool, or fleece! You can do a woolen base layer or sweater to really help hold in heat. Hand warmers are never a bad idea, kids love to take a break and hold them!

Prior to our session I am happy and available to help you style your family!

How to prepare for your family Fall session

I always suggest having our session be the highlight of your day! Overly tired and stimulated kids can have a harder time enjoying themselves at sessions. Talk to your kids about what you are doing, how you are taking family photos that will be hung up in your home!

I know it can be intimating to step in front of my lens and allow yourself to be vulnerable, but I promise I am here for you! I strive to create a fun, relaxed, fun atmosphere for you and your family to engage in. My goal is for you all to leave not only having created beautiful images but also rich, cherished memories together!

Do your best to relax, engage, smile and play with your family and leave the rest to me!

Prior to our session I am available to answer any and all your questions you might have.

We will work together to capture the love in your family!

My process and how to book

Pick a location and date that work for you from my online booking. I will send you my contract and invoice followed by a welcome/styling email. For full sessions I do a phone consult prior to our session to get to know each other a little better and break the ice!

Only the non-refundable is due at the time of booking with the remainder due one week prior to our scheduled session.

I can’t wait to meet you and your family this fall!

WELCOME

The idea of capturing fleeting, intimate details of the current season of your family’s life is one of my greatest passions. I’d like you to pause right now… and think about what you treasure most about this current season. Is it the way your son looks adoringly at your husband, or the way your daughter’s nose wrinkles when she laughs or maybe the way your baby’s head fits perfectly in the nook of your neck?

We never know what twists and turns life has in store for us, and I wholeheartedly believe preserving each season’s unique details is profoundly important.
