The Details: 

Session Experience –  

I don’t let the kids know this, but they run the session. If your child is feeling shy and snuggly, your experience will reflect that. If your child is feeling wild and full of energy.. be ready to get your workout in! I love movement, play and connection. Expect to not look at the camera for most of your session and please don’t ask your children to either. The best photos happen in genuine moments of connection. 

Locations – 

You’ll get to pick a location from my pre scouted options. These have been carefully picked for lighting and space to explore, run and play. If you are looking for a specific spot, please message me first so I can make sure it will work.

Golden Hour – 

I shoot at a time of day known as golden hour. This is when the light is beautiful, creamy and soft, optimal for photos. It is roughly one hour before sunset. I know this can be an intimidating time with young kids. Most kids do really well, they love exploring and playing and our time together flys by. However you know your child best and if that simply is too late, fall and spring would be perfect times to book as the sun sets much earlier.
