Beloved
My Beloved (also for Newborn sessions) is my local package option. These sessions are held in the Kitsap Peninsula area, Seattle and Tacoma. All of my family sessions focus on engaging, playful, joyful and loving connections. My aim is to capture the essence of your family.
I like to jokingly… but somewhat seriously, tell parents that however busy their child is, is how busy our session will be. The kid’s don’t know it but they run the session.
So, if your child is snuggly, you will have a snuggly session. If your child is busy, explorative and playful, then our session will be too. I strive to create a natural, relaxed, open atmosphere where you can freely engage as a family. I absolutely love being silly, laughing about farts, telling jokes, making funny faces and noises – whatever it takes you get your children to engage and allow their unguarded selves to shine. It is important to me that your children feel valued and seen during our time together, I will absolutely take the time to listen to their ideas and stories they may want to share.
I ask that parents refrain from over disciplining children during our time together. That looks like not forcing them to do things they don’t want to do, if a child is not interested in my idea I simply pivot and try something else. I will never force a child to do something they don’t want to do and I ask that parents don’t either.
I shoot during a time of day called Golden Hour, which is either at sunrise or sunset. This is when the lighting is the absolute best and lighting plays a HUGE role in the overall outcome of your photos. I do understand that early mornings and late nights can feel intimating with young children but, over my 8-year career I have had only a handful of little ones completely melt down. Being outside in a new location and playing is different than pushing bedtime at home. I have children myself; tantrums and meltdowns don’t intimate or overwhelm me. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve and can usually find ways to engage your little ones.
The bottom line is though, that you know your child best, and if you feel your child won’t do well with a disrupted sleep routine, I suggest scheduling a session in the fall or early spring, when Golden Hour occurs later in the morning and earlier in the evening.
After you have booked the session of your choice, I will send a welcome email and schedule a phone consultation. I love to do these chats because I have found that help to create a relaxed atmosphere during the session. They allow me to get to know you a little bit, what your vision is and what moments are most on your heart.

“Morgan’s talent behind the lens is truly remarkable. From the moment we met her, she had a way of making our entire family feel at ease, resulting in genuine, heartfelt moments captured in her photographs. The images she created are not just pictures; they’re windows into our cherished memories, frozen in time for us to treasure forever. Morgan’s skill, warmth, and ability to capture the essence of our family make her a photographer we’ll always turn to for our most precious moments. We have been fortunate enough to work with her for our extended family photos, fresh newborn photos, a children’s boutique session and we are so looking forward to booking our next session. I adore her heart and talent, she makes my goofy girls smile and is so patient with my crazy crew! Thank you, Morgan, for giving us memories to hold onto and share for generations to come.”
